Who are Birmingham City F.C Community Trust?
We are a registered Charity ( Charity Number 1086631) that use the power and passion of sport and the Brand of BCFC to provide opportunities and experiences to those people who make up our local communities.
We aim to create a strong, safer, and healthier community by delivering a high-quality sporting activity in our City and beyond. We want to break down barriers to participation so that there are opportunities for everyone and support our local people to be active, be healthy, achieve, and be successful.
We deliver a variety of programmes and holiday soccer camps tailored to give all participants the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, and engage in active and healthy programmes regardless of age, gender, or ability.
Our programmes are all led by qualified and experienced coaches who deliver exciting and innovative sessions to ensure everyone who takes part has a brilliant experience.
All complaints should be directed to the Community Trust Business and Compliance Manager, Ryan Chamberlain, who can be contacted via email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or by telephone on 0121 202 5210.
We aim to resolve complaints within 10 working days of receipt, however, in some cases, this may not be possible and any complaint that requires additional investigation will look to be resolved within 21 working days.
A complaint which does not receive a minimum of an acknowledgement from the Community Trust within the given time frame or if a person is unhappy with the response provided by the Community Trust, then they should escalate the complaint to the Community Director, who can be contacted on 0121 202 5210.
We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 working days of receipt, however, in some cases this may not be possible and any complaint that requires additional investigation will look to be resolved within 10 working days.
In these instances, all parties will be kept informed of the progress of their complaint by the Business and Compliance Manager who will remain the point of contact within the Community Trust.
When all investigations are complete, we will explain what we have found.

BCFC Community Trust Strategic objectives

The Community Trust's policy is to increase unrestricted funds to the level required to provide sufficient funds to cover administration costs. The Trustees are committed to ensuring a minimum surplus of 3 months operating costs.
The Community Trust will aspire to have 6 months of operating costs as a surplus.

"The Board of Trustees, staff, and volunteer at Birmingham City FC Community Trust (The Trust) acknowledges and accepts it has a statutory obligation and responsibility for the wellbeing and safety of all adults at risk, children and young people who participate in the Trust’s activities or utilise The Trust’s facilities. This policy applies to all services, activities and programmes of the Community Trust that involve direct contact with children or adults at risk."
The Trust’s Safeguarding Children Policy applies to senior managers and all staff, paid or volunteer, sessional workers, agency staff, interns / students or anyone working on behalf of The Trust and will be given to all adults working with our participants and beneficiaries.
"The welfare of the child is paramount and all the workforce and volunteers working at The Trust have a ‘duty of care’ to safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults by creating safe environments that protect them from harm. The policy may also be supplemented by in-service training and additional guidance which will be tailored to specific roles."
