BCFC Community Trust & Cadbury provide lockdown cheer

Throughout lockdown the BCFC Community Trust has been busy hosting online quizzes, via Zoom, for participants of the Clubs disability programme.

The quizzes have been a vital tool during the lockdown period, helping participants stay engaged with the programme whilst giving those involved something to look forward to and a chance to catch up with one-another, virtually. Quiz participants have enjoyed testing their knowledge with the time also being used by colleagues from the BCFC Community Trust to 'check in'.

In addition to online quizzes, colleagues from the BCFC Community Trust have been on hand to support participants during lockdown.  Phone calls, in addition to socially distance visits and walks with participants delivered welcome respite during those challenging months, as did hearing a familiar voice.

With the national lockdown concluding on Wednesday 2 December, training sessions have made a welcome return and with the sessions going from strength to strength once more everyone is looking forward to playing competitive matches.

The Club’s official snacking partner Cadbury have also been on hand to provide some welcome cheer, supplying each participant with a special 'welcome back to training' gift.
